Heguru Infant & Toddler
Right Brain Development Programme

6 Months – 4 Years

Give Your Child an Early Head Start

The Infant & Toddler Course is specially designed for the period of most rapid brain development in a child's life—from birth to 4 years old.

During these formative years, the brain possesses extraordinary learning capacity, making early stimulation especially impactful.

Through the Heguru Method's unique combination of high-speed right-brain stimulation, multi-sensory learning experiences, and meaningful parent-child interaction, children begin building strong foundations in memory, language, concentration, coordination, and overall cognitive development long before formal schooling begins.

Recognising that young children learn best through short, engaging experiences, every lesson is carefully structured into numerous fast-paced activities that continually capture their attention. This dynamic approach keeps learning enjoyable, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate while maximising brain development.

Two Teachers. One Seamless Learning Experience.

Our unique two-teacher classroom model is what makes Heguru Educations's fast-paced lessons possible, and allows the class to progress seamlessly without unnecessary pauses.

This efficient teamwork enables children to experience a greater variety of stimulating activities, keeps the lesson energetic and engaging.

No other brain training enrichment programmes deliver the same combination of engaging fast-paced lesson delivery, rapid activity transitions and two-teacher classroom support that defines the Heguru Method.

Over 40 Engaging Activities in Every Lesson

Every Heguru lesson features over 40 carefully designed activities, far more than what is typically found in a conventional enrichment class. Each lesson exposes children to a rich variety of concepts.

We also recognise that young children have naturally short attention spans. Instead of spending extended periods on a single activity, lessons transition rapidly through a wide variety of fun, stimulating experiences. This keeps children attentive, motivated and actively engaged while maximising every minute of valuable learning time.

We Start as Young as Babies 6 Months Old.

A child's first few years are a period of remarkable brain development, making early childhood an ideal time to provide rich and meaningful learning experiences.

As one of the few enrichment centres in Singapore offering holistic brain development programmes for babies from just 6 months old, Heguru Education helps children make the most of the precious early developmental years, laying the foundation for lifelong learning and development.

Learning Through Joyful Discovery

We believe children learn best when they are actively engaged and genuinely enjoying the learning process. That's why every lesson is carefully designed to be fun, interactive and filled with positive energy, helping children develop a lifelong love for learning.

Every activity has a clear developmental purpose while remaining enjoyable.

What Happens in a Heguru Infant & Toddler Lesson?

A Fast-Paced, Multi-Sensory Learning Experience

Each Heguru lesson combines a wide variety of short, engaging activities designed to keep young children interested and actively participating.

Depending on the lesson, activities may include:

  • Flashcards

  • Memory games

  • Numbers and counting

  • Letters and language

  • Picture recognition

  • Puzzles

  • Songs and movement

  • Visual activities

  • Stories

  • General knowledge

  • Sensory and coordination activities

Rather than spending a long time on one activity, children experience many different learning experiences within a single lesson.

Parent-Accompanied Learning

Learn Together. Grow Together.

The Infant & Toddler Course is parent-accompanied, allowing a parent or guardian to participate together with the baby or child.

Parents can observe how activities are conducted, encourage their child's participation and create positive learning experiences together.

This also makes the programme more than simply a childcare or drop-off enrichment class — it becomes a shared parent-child learning experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age can my child start?

From babies as young as 6 months old.

This is intentionally the earliest age at which we offer our programme, as it coincides with the period of the fastest brain development in a child's life. During these early years, the brain forms neural connections at an extraordinary rate, making it an ideal time to nurture learning abilities and build a strong foundation for future development.

However, it's never too late to start. Whether your child is an infant, toddler, preschooler or already in primary school, our curriculum is designed to develop essential lifelong skills such as memory, concentration, creativity, problem-solving, processing speed, numeracy, literacy and confidence.

Is Heguru suitable for babies?

Yes. The programme is specifically designed for babies, infants and toddlers, with short, varied activities and parent participation to create an engaging learning environment.

Do parents attend the lessons?

Yes. For our Infant & Toddler Course (6 months to 4 years old), a parent or guardian attends the lesson together with the child. This allows you to actively participate in the class activities, strengthen your bond with your child, and learn techniques that you can easily reinforce at home.

What activities are included?

Lessons may include flashcards, memory games, numbers, language activities, visual exercises, songs, movement, puzzles, stories and other interactive activities.

How long is each lesson?

Each Infant & Toddler lesson lasts 60 minutes, including a short debrief lecture for parents at the end of every lesson.

How many children are in a class?

Classes are limited to up to 6 children, creating a small and more focused learning environment.

Is Heguru only for children who are already good at learning?

No. The programme is designed to nurture children's developing abilities through exposure, repetition, interaction and varied learning experiences.

What happens when my child turns 5?

Heguru is designed as a continuous, age-progressive programme that supports your child's development from 6 months to 12 years old.

As your child grows, it is important to progress to the next age-appropriate course so that learning continues at the right pace. After completing this course, children will advance to the Heguru Preschool Course (5–6 years old), where the curriculum builds upon the strong foundation developed in the earlier years.
