Heguru Education Singapore: Our Journey
Heguru Education was first introduced to the Singapore public in December 2012 by Heguru Japan (HEGL) founders Mrs Ruiko Henmi and Mr Hirotada Henmi.
Our first Heguru Education Centre officially opened in January 2013, marking the beginning of our journey in Singapore.
Over the years, Heguru Education Singapore has grown from our first centre in Eunos to a network of 10 centres opened across Singapore, serving families in communities including Punggol, Tampines, Paya Lebar, Serangoon and Pasir Ris.
In 2023, we celebrated our 10th anniversary, followed by the opening of our 9th centre at Pasir Ris Mall and 10th centre at Punggol Coast Mall in 2025.

Inaugural Founders' Seminar
Heguru Education was introduced to the Singapore public for the first time by HEGL founders Mrs Ruiko Henmi and Mr Hirotada Henmi.
Grand Opening — Heguru Education Centre @ Eunos
Official launch of Heguru programmes in Singapore.
Heguru Education Opens 2nd Centre in Sengkang
Our first expansion beyond the original Eunos centre to serve families in Sengkang and surrounding areas.
Heguru Education Opens 3rd Centre at One KM mall
Our original Eunos centre relocates and expands into One KM Shopping Mall.
Founders' Seminar
A large-scale Founders' Seminar was conducted by HEGL founders Mrs Ruiko Henmi and Mr Hirotada Henmi.
It was held in NTUC Auditorium for around 500 participants.
First in Singapore — Heguru Primary Course Launches
Widely acclaimed Heguru Primary Course debuts at Heguru Education Centre @ One KM.
Heguru Education Opens 4th Centre at Waterway Point Mall, Punggol
Our expansion to serve families in Punggol and surrounding areas.
Heguru Education Opens 5th Centre at Our Tampines Hub
Our expansion to serve families in Tampines and surrounding areas.
Heguru Education Opens 6th Centre at SingPost Centre, Paya Lebar
Our One KM centre relocates and expands into SingPost Centre shopping mall.
Heguru Education Opens 7th Centre at Oasis Terraces, Punggol
Our second centre in Punggol opens.
Heguru Education Produces 1st Batch of Ichimankai Students Inducted in Japan
Our first batch of five Ichimankai students were personally inducted into the Ichimankai Club in Japan by the founders of HEGL.
Heguru Education Opens 8th Centre at Serangoon NEX
Our expansion to serve families in Serangoon and surrounding areas.
10-Year Anniversary
We celebrate 10 years since our first official centre opening.

Our expansion to serve families in Pasir Ris and surrounding areas.

Celebrating 10 Years of
Heguru Education in Singapore
In 2023, Heguru Education Singapore celebrated 10 years since the opening of our first centre in 2013.
From our humble beginnings in Eunos to our growing presence across Singapore, this milestone represents more than a decade of working together with parents and children.
We are deeply grateful to the families who have placed their trust in Heguru Education and to our dedicated team of educators who continue to uphold the Heguru Method and strive to provide high-quality brain development programmes for children.

Today
Today, Heguru Education Singapore operates six centres under the same management, conveniently located at SingPost Centre, Waterway Point, Our Tampines Hub, Serangoon NEX, Pasir Ris Mall and Punggol Coast Mall.
Our programmes are designed for children from 6 months to 12 years old and are based on the Heguru Method developed by HEGL Japan.
