Community &
Educational Collaboration

HDB X HEGURU EDUCATION
2020
HDB Oasis Terraces
Virtual Event Collaboration X ITE
In November 2020, HDB collaborated with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to organise a virtual event at Oasis Terraces.
The initiative aimed to provide ITE students with an authentic, real-world learning experience by giving them the opportunity to plan, coordinate and execute an actual event.
As we believed this would be a meaningful project that could greatly benefit the graduating students, we were delighted to support the initiative by facilitating the filming of interviews, lessons and interactive activities at Heguru Education Centre.
The virtual event was streamed through HDB’s official Oasis Terraces Facebook page and featured a combination of live-streamed segments and pre-recorded videos that were incorporated into the programme.
It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to gain hands-on experience in planning and executing a real-life event, while allowing us to play a small part in supporting their learning journey.

Our founder, Mr Kuah Eng Liang, was honoured to be invited to conduct a brain stimulation talk for families with SG50 Jubilee babies at a fun and enriching community event held at Tampines Community Centre.
Heguru Education was delighted to support this meaningful initiative and contribute to the Tampines community by sharing insights on children’s brain development and early learning with local families.
The event was warmly received, with many parents visiting our booth after the talk to learn more about Heguru’s right-brain development programmes for babies and young children.
The event was graced by Guest of Honour Mr Desmond Choo, Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC.
It was a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with families in the community and share our passion for nurturing children’s potential from an early age.
